1. Managing Your Setlist
Adding PDFs & ChordPro files
Use the + button in the sidebar to load your chord charts. The tool natively supports standard PDFs, as well as text-based ChordPro formats (.cho, .crd, .pro, .txt). You can drag and drop files within the sidebar list to order your setlist.
Planning Center Integration
You can securely connect your Planning Center Services account. Just tap "Import from PCO" in the sidebar and log in. Once you select your upcoming service plan, the app will deep-scan your setlist—checking every song and arrangement—to find your attached PDFs and ChordPro files. Select what you need, and they'll download directly into your setlist!
Saving Projects
Click Save Project to export your entire setlist (including all your files, annotations, and zoom levels) into a single .pdfc file. You can load this file back into the app or send it to others.
2. Annotation & Editing
The top toolbar provides several tools to mark up your charts, fix mistakes, or rewrite sections.
Draw freely or use the transparent highlighter.
Click anywhere to type notes. Use the toolbar to adjust font size and colour.
Drag a box over printed PDF text to extract it and convert it into a fully editable text box with an automatic whiteout backing.
Transposing & Editing Source Files
When you load a text-based ChordPro file, special tools will appear on the far left of your toolbar.
- Transpose: Click the + or - buttons to instantly transpose the entire chart up or down. The app natively parses the chords and aligns everything.
- Two Columns: Click the Columns icon to instantly restructure the song into a two-column layout. The font size adapts automatically to help fit longer songs onto a single page without needing to scroll or turn pages.
- Edit Source: Click the Pencil icon next to the transpose buttons to open the raw text editor. You can correct lyrics or chords directly inside the app, and hitting save will regenerate the PDF on the fly!
Copy & Paste
You can easily duplicate a tricky chorus or move a section of music to a different page.
- Select the Cut Tool and draw a box around the music you want to grab.
- It will automatically be selected with a blue dashed border.
- Hit the Copy button (or press Ctrl+C).
- Navigate to any page and hit Paste (or Ctrl+V). The snippet will appear directly in the centre of your screen!
3. Band Sync & Remote Control
Connect multiple devices together over Wi-Fi so the whole band stays on the same page, or use your smartphone as a wireless remote. Note: A persistent internet connection is required for this feature and works best if devices are all on the same network.
For the Band Leader
Click the Remote icon to reveal your 6-digit PIN. Tell your band to enter this into their devices.
- When you turn a page, their devices will turn automatically.
- Click Send Full Setlist to beam your entire setlist to the band instantly.
- Click Send Current PDF to push a last-minute chart to everyone's devices on the fly.
For Band Members
Click the Remote icon and enter the Leader's 6-digit PIN into the "Band Sync" box.
- You will be notified automatically if the Leader sends a new setlist.
- You can still swipe ahead to peek at the next page; you will be snapped back into sync as soon as the Leader turns the page.
- Click Send Current Chart to Leader to send your active chart back to the leader's device.
4. Other Features
Shake to Turn
Give your tablet a single firm shake to turn forwards, or a double shake to turn backwards. Perfect when your hands are full!
Keep Awake (Wake Lock)
Tap the Coffee Cup icon to prevent your tablet or laptop from going to sleep or dimming mid-song. The button turns amber when active.
Night Vision Mode
Select the Moon icon to invert the canvas colours. It turns glaring white pages to black, saving your eyes on a dark stage.
Bluetooth Pedals
You can use standard Bluetooth page-turner pedals (like AirTurn or PageFlip). They act as standard keyboard arrow keys, allowing you to turn pages totally hands-free.
Fullscreen
Tap the Fullscreen icon to hide the browser UI. Once in fullscreen, tapping the left or right 20% of your screen will turn the page, and tapping the centre will reveal the hidden toolbars.
